Unknown Artwork

Hoping to poll the collective consciousness here. I was given these by a family friend and was hoping to identify them.

The artist's name looks to be Colin W Barnes Jr though a casual google search doesn't bring up any results.

I've attached a photo of each of the four pieces and a closeup of the artist's name.

Does anyone know anything about the series and/or the artist?

Thanks in advance!
Whit

Don't know anything about the artist or the art, but they look cool! Thanks for sharing.

This is why I'm thankful I don't try to decipher signatures for a living. Thanks for the scoop on the name of the artist.

Still curious if anyone knows the story on these images. There is an etsy listing selling one that suggests they are from the 60's but if there were produced in a set I find that unlikely as one is from the '75 Targa.

Thanks for the quick responses so far!

well, in your defence, the "john" sure looks like "colin"

anyways
your 4 'prints' are taken from an alfa inc (USA) loose leaf portfolio from 1977.
they will be dated and copyrighted on bottom right under the frame edge.

Dom, thanks for posting about the Ferrari book. I have just finished reading a copy that I bought from ABE books. It has great pictures.
