I listen to classical music. And when I say classical music, I mean Led Zeppelin.

Cheers

Hi, I like the songs of The Beatles. I remembered my mom used to tell me about them during the 60's. This is one of the most famous English rock bands. I'm listening to their their songs "Hey Jude" and "Let It be"

Quote:
"stoked" - adjective - to be "stoked" is to be completely and intensely enthusiastic, exhilirated, or excited about something. those who are stoked all of the time know this; being stoked is the epitome of all being. when one is stoked, there is no limit to what one can do.
In 1965 or so "stoked" was a more common adjective than now. With that in mind I think it's a fitting way of describing Brian Wilson's current "No Pier Pressure" CD. The first time I herd it, I thought it was some period Beach Boy's outakes that somehow surfaced after decades of being hidden in Capitol's vaults. But, no, this is about as pure a Brian Wilson production as you'll find. Listening to this music, you see where the distinctive Beach Boy close-harmonies and yearning, outsider lyrics came from. This CD is definitely a throwback to an earlier time. Long may it wave.

Ive been on a Grateful Dead resurgence lately. Havent listened to them really in 25 plus years and re-discovering the melodies and rhythm guitar work not to mention the easy going vocals and supreme musicianship. And, there are so many free versions (the Dead always encouraged folks to record them) -- and long versions on you tube (2 plus hours!) Set it, forget it, get under the car and enjoy the tunes!!!

Classics all the time as in 80s/ 90s music, by far better than the music that gets played today!
