I like the project and it probably costs more than a friend who sold his 1964 GTO for 3.3K long time ago.

After the mishap at Goodwood, it seems your skills could be put to work on an actual 250 GTO! Different tail, but still...

Thankfully while that car looks like the real 64 GTO and is owned by the owner of the real 64 GTO, I have been told from a good source and seen comparison photos, taken within days of each other, that a replica was made to race while the real one does the concours shows. I still hate these sorts of replicas ...

Goodwood is great but they race too hard and in the end old cars suffer. It has IMO become a "I'm so rich that I can afford to race an apparently genuine historic car, crash and repair it, and not even flinch" show.
