Cool sighting BMW i8

Last Sunday I was riding the shuttle bus to the races in Del Mar, Ca and I spied my first i8 BMW. I love the idea of a tiny 1.5 turbo putting up the numbers it does. Of course the two electric motors help a lot.

A few stock photos attached since I was too far away to get a shot myself. It was the blue and white version.

They have surprising presence in person, don't they? I was pretty surprised at how low it was and what an aggressive stance it has. It really does look like they took a show concept car and put it on the road.
