No mistake; nothing to do with Dweezil (although I did get the year wrong; it's a '39 Chevy--not a '59):

Primer mi carucha (Chevy '39)
Going to El Monte Legion Stadium
Pick up on my weesa (she is so divine)
Helps me stealing hub caps
Wasted all the time

Fuzzy dice, bongos in the back
My ship of love is ready to attack

Here are the words from FZ's song about a very special dog:

Evelyn, a modified dog...
viewed the quivering fringe of a special doily
draped across the piano, with some surprise.

In the darkened room where the chairs dismayed
and the horrible curtains muffled the rain,
she could hardly believe her eyes.

A curious breeze of garlic breath,
which sounded like a snore,
somewhere near the Steinway (or even from within),
had caused the doily fringe to waft & tremble in the gloom

Evelyn, a dog, having undergone further modification
pondered the significance of short-person behavior
in pedal-depressed panchromatic resonance
and other highly ambient domains...

"Arf" she said

I bet Frank would have enjoyed this thread! So, can we name the puppy Evelyn?

If poodle, the size will make a all the difference to Alex's recipes; there's a lot more meat on a standard than a toy.

"Evelyn" seems to befit a royal puppy: from Eve: "Breath of Life" and from Lyn "Beautiful" so we end up with "Beautiful Breath of Life" which is derived from Old English. What more could you ask for a royal puppy? Unless of course, we've decided she is not of English decent.

Used2be loved your story...you're doing so well, you can continue, we'd hate to ruin what you have going.

1.6 HF, I'm not sure now if the El Monte Legion Stadium was actually razed or not; difficult to tell from this Redevelopment Proposal that closed September, 2007. My best guess, yes, since it refers to land use with only the style that should be maintained not an historical building that has to be preserved.

"B. SCOPE OF DEVELOPMENT

The developer will be responsible for constructing a quality development that will have a
positive impact on surrounding land uses and development. It is anticipated that the
developer will use its expertise in urban design and architecture to develop a proposal
that complements and contributes to the quality of life, and the character and history of
the surrounding neighborhood including, in particular the El Monte Legion Stadium.
This RFP sets no specific land uses or design criteria; however a high level of design
detail and creativity is requested. The Agency desires that the developer create its
own concept of highest and best use for the site, given the location’s history, and
its key location in the relation to the historic downtown commercial district."

Finding meat on a toy is something we seldom encounter up north. What would Woody say?

Todays toy count: 2012 Challenger, 97 SVT Cobra conv, 74 BMW r60/6, 52 Chevy Styleline Deluxe, (last of 12 previous Alfa's now gone).

On the contrary. I read that excerpt as suggesting that it is not a part of the redevelopment site and will be maintained. Now if we could only find those hubcaps...

I just heard that trivia question the other day, on the radio but I cant seem to remember what I did Yesterday, so it is gone now. Besides, I still have about 527 posts and a few bugs left to name that tune.

Got me, but her show at the Anticlub almost got us kicked out. Hellen was very upset. Too much chocolate?
