Drat!

I am sorry I was not following this thread during th ex-wife moments.
However I offered Gordon the best solution at the time. Had I known an attorney was involved I would have resolved it for him personally! Pro bono!

MS XP Support died today!

Had to set up McAfee Virus prtoection software on my old desk top today as XP support and Microsoft Essentials virus protection for XP went away today April 8, 2014.

Wonder how many years I can get out of Windows 7 on my laptop now?

Had a long hard ride with XP and still use it to run my older Car Disc Alfa Romeo CD manuals.

Windows Vista dies off on April 11, 2017.
Windows 7 gets murdered in it's sleep on Jan. 14, 2020.
And why did the Windows 8.1 user throw the clock out of the window? It was an ever-present reminder that he only has until Jan. 10, 2023 before he becomes a Luddite.

Can anyone tell me if there supposed to be a hyphen in the expression anal-retentive?

Thanks,

I guess I was never anal retentive enough to worry about it.

Speaking of.... what ever happened to Dr. Etceterini?

Last I heard, he was hospitalized somewhere out West.

It was more of a rhetorical joke about anal retentiveness...and a poor one at that... but I did get a couple of emails that tend to confirm that he's been hospitalized, Alex. Although it seems no one knows for sure.

Y'all remember that bullet riddled truck I used to have? The one about 5 years ago where I was looking at a house that was for sale (that another Alfa owner had told me about), and the neighbor came out and opened fire on me?

I can't remember if I described how that was resolved but basically the DA talked me out of prosecution. The perp admitted guilt, he made restitution, he surrendered his weapons, he went to a psychiatrist, he put his house up for sale, and was supposed to retire and move out of the county.

I guess that didn't work out. A couple of weeks ago he allegedly drove over to an apparent business partner's house, got out of his car, shot the guy dead in the front yard, and drove off.

I bet that DA feels like an a$$ now. That guy could have been in stir instead of out running around town killing people.

You could have "accidentally" run him over with that nice bullet riddled Ford Larry, naturally in a moment of panic. That usually ends idiots law breaking habits I'm told.
It is a shame though.

I miss those times when picture threads were picture threads, not bla-blah threads.

I think Ruedi may have been referring to the Peugeot tattoo thread. But I do love a good Rat Fink pic!

Cool Pills!

I don't take too many pills, just four each morning.

Vitamin B and D, an Ibuprofin and a salt-free blood pressure pill.

Often, when putting them on the counter and without trying one or two will be balanced on its edge.

This morning I had two "balancers" and a "roller".
