Yeah, no, what?
Yeah this is the joke thread but I meant a thread wherein we could post jokes. Like the one we already have, which was the joke. Aw, forget about it. Confusing!

That's definitely not incorrect, Gordon. It does not meet the criteria for confused AND incorrect. Was that a double negative: "not incorrect"? It's a good thing double positives are not used to convey a negative.... yeah right.

All Danica, all the time. Well, they did mention the winner in the last sentence of the story. It was... I don't remember. Some dude.

Larry, Speaking of 'doubles': My 'favs' are "double-infinitives"
such as: "As If "...such flow!!, such character!!, such charm!! such as!!
.......no wait: I'm repeating...no wait: I'm at the beginning...no wait:
I'm confused but not 'not incorrect'...Ed K.

Or my wife's favorite, after I explain why buying her a Volvo does NOT mean I have to sell an Alfa: "What ever" (or is that "whatever"? Whatever.).

SELL an Alfa????...as if!

I thought that this was the "Changing the subject" thread, not the "Too much erudition" thread.

I think I'll go elsewhere for my daily shot of confusion.

Like the weather in Texas, Bob, if you don't like the subject, wait a minute. It will change.

Weather just changed here.

Hadn't driven my Spider since before Christmas.

Grey dull morning, and the roof was up so out Marine Drive and around Point Grey. Out there it began to drizzle and on one corner the road was wet enough and my foot heavy enough to do little hanging-out of the rear end.

Vreds are good in the wet, but the driver's foot needs to be more sensitive.

Other than that the car is running well and the battery has been refreshed.

Whew! I don't know, Bob. That post was dangerously close to On Topic!

Though it sounds like a good time was had by all; the car and the driver!
