Wow
Here is a chance to own something unique. A Fiat airplane with an Alfa Romero built engine. It would be even more cool with an Alfa Romeo built engine but still a great opportunity, and you cannot deny the rareness of the elusive Romero engine. I guess. (don't know the owner/seller, and yes I sent him a snippy little email)

Talking Also

Larry, I've always noticed on your postings the lower line: "Help for the Confused and
Incorrect since 2009". So the question is...How many members are there?....and...
Where is my bloody 'Membership' APPLICATION?????...Ed K.

Well Ed as of right now I guess it is just Gordon. And maybe wife, but she never listens and thinks anyone who owns 4 Alfas is confused and incorrect, anyway. So I don't think I can count her. I thought about a membership application, but then if one is confused and incorrect, how would he or she fill it out? Confusing. That could lead some to add an extra R in Romero, making it Romerro or putting a PH in Alpha, as in Phalpha, or even putting Chrysler in Alfa Romeo, as in Marchionne.

Ed, IT'S A MIRACLE! With Larry's help, I'm only confused and incorrect now about 50 % of the time! You SHOULD consider signing up. It's not just the Alpha stuff either, it can be something as complex as messing up the difference between an 8x1.25 bolt and an 8x1 nut! Believe me, there are guys here on the BB that just proof read for this kind of thing!
You gotta be careful!

Oh that one--think I have the original somewhere. Probably from Road & Track.

Took it out to Specialty Engineering and, while it was difficult, Andy fabricated one.

It has since been misplaced.

As I recall, the main piece was called a "Trochator", or something like that.

Way ahead of the Flux Capacitor.

Tell her she doesn't know what confused and incorrect is until she takes those four Alfas and multiplies them by 10 or more. She'd think I was far beyond confused and incorrect.

I think you ought to start your own little nationwide group of the confused and incorrect to compete with the SNO's. Dual membership accepted, of course.

While I do proofread in a gross view and can visually tell the difference between a nut and a bolt, I don't proof read for clearance and tolerance values, or the difference between a 1/4 of an inch and an inch etc. That's for you experts....who you've already pointed out are "guys."

Thanks Cheryl,
I believe the dual membership idea is a good one AS I AM A CHARTER MEMBER!

Wait, what? Does that make me the Confused and Incorrect Chapter Director of SNO? Or is it the Director of the Confused and Incorrect Chapter? It think I like the later better than the former for some reason. Mabye it's in the sin tax??? Someone, please, take my shovel away.

What? Huh? It was---just over there damnitall. Never, ever dump all the nuts bolts and washers from a complete front suspension teardown in one bucket and expect to efficiently put the puzzle back together. I am incorrect and now confused.

It's a reasonably normal condition if you spend time working on Italian cars. Don't worry about it, and as Larry has helped me understand, don't feel bad about it. Few care how confused and incorrect you may be, if you offer help here on the BB. Larry's help is for the confused and incorrect, and I believe his title is now Legion President of The Confused and Incorrect. I am probably a Chapter Director and Charter Member of The Confused and Incorrect, but SNO, now that's a whole story in itself! Larry should probably join SNO and become a Milti-Chapter Director, as he is now confused enough that he has multiple residences in different states. This is confusing. Maybe I'm incorrect again.....

Larry does seem to be confused with his residence--Wacko Tx and Heartburnville Al--but then again maybe multiple incorrectness and massive confusion lead to a laser like state of perfectedness. He is a Grand Wapoo--I've seen his hat
