On May 13th 1950 Alfa Romeo completed an historic 1-2-3 finish at the first-ever
Formula One European Championship race, which was held at Silverstone motor racing circuit.

My first new car was a 65 Falcon Futura Hdtp 289-2v w/4-speed. I owned that car two times and would have bought it back a third time if I could have found it. I had a 302 F-150 truck engine and a 66 Mustang 4-sp close ratio tranny in it when I sold it second time. Loved that car almost as much as I love my Alfa 164. Different time in my life.

Actually this first pix is a 64 same body different grill and side trim. Liked 65 grill and trim better as shown in second pix.
