Fred,
Departure from your house has been changed to 1:00, correct? First stop at Laurel lake probably shouldn't be later than 1:30, or if you're leading the pack maybe 1:15

Fred, I'm not sure what time we're going to be at the first stop, so feel free to give us a call at home. I expect to be leaving Hampton Bays around 1pm to give the far away people some more time to get out here.

Fred:

Sorry I missed it, but glad to see you had god's own weather pattern for the tour. Got the starter in, one of the few relatively easy repairs I've made to her. Nothing more satisfying. For anyone that cares, get a ratcheting 7/16's wrench -- it was a life saver.

The weather was great... but that brought out the massive crowds!
There were plenty of photos taken... but none by me. Perhaps the other Fred will post them up here?

The main group met up with us at Laurel Lake winery (we had already been to Lieb after driving in and out of Martha Clara because of too many cars ). The parking lot of LL was empty basically minutes before the group arrived. I had the camera on the tripod to get a shot of all of us until 2 busses arrived - so much for that idea since everyone else parked on the other side of the lot. By the time we got inside it was so crowded that we left to go to the next stop.

The next stop I think this was Peconic Bay winery - how soon we forget What I wanted to forget was all the cars in the lot plus a 50' Hummer or something trying to back up into me. I managed to park between a bunch of bolders and a section of wine vines Never did taste any of their wines either as it was so crowded in the small tasting room that the wife and I left before anyone got to us. What does someone have to do to get a drink around here
