Pjfranks303 I am seriously thinking about it. Any links to source everything needed would be great. Thanks in advance.

lawrencedesigns So technically it would be a "remodel" instead of a "restoration."
Hell yes! Do it!!!

Pjfranks303 Might be a huge undertaking. Thoughts on if I should do it? Links to any Duetto dash parts would be nice. I want to see how much this is going to cost me.

Andrew Yeah, 66-69 windshield is more upright than 1970 and later, probably a flatter curve at the base. I'd think the attachment differs, since Duetto dashes are metal and all later are rubber/foam with a frame.

sprintgtc Personally, I like the early dash too and I think it would be a cool custom touch. Also, you will pick up some extra interior space. A quick search of Classic Alfa's website turned up this:

So there you go. The top is half the battle, and the rest of the Duetto style dash parts are pretty easy to find. Post some pictures!

Pjfranks303 Thank you. What are your thoughts, should I do it?

sprintgtc Sure, early "series 2" Spider Juniors had the metal Duetto dash, so it is possible. However, I believe the radius along the bottom of the windshield is different, so you'll most likely need to source a dashtop made for one of those Juniors. The rest of the dash could come from any roundtail from '66 to '70. Also, you'll have to decide if you want to use the later speedo & tach, or retrofit the car to use the earlier style cables.

1983 Spider

I am restoring my Spider from the ground up. Question.... Can I use a 1968 dash on an 1983 Spider? I just love the older dash.
