Austin Alfa Sorry-disregard-the auction results showed up on page 3. I thought it would have been ranked higher

$18,977,000 inclusive

the 3rd highest price for a pre war car ever realized

Austin Alfa Foolish me-I thought the auction was Saturday-its all bikes and the cars were Friday. No 20-our beloved 8C 2900 -I can't find the hammer price on the internet or auction site. Has not been updated. Did anyone here happen to see the auction on line and recall the final hammer price?

alfa_164s What is its time on the Nurbrungring?

Joke aside this and the 33 stradale are the 2 most beautiful Alfa ever made in my eyes.

Well I've got a '71 1750 GTV and a 2001 156v6, a '97 Honda Odyssey and a 2015 Toyota Vitz, electric lawnmower, 15 year old Lab-retriever, 2 year old French bull dog, a few family members ...

Open for discussions

pescara I had noticed this car in November, here ... But maybe the title was too specialized

It's a good idea to put the description here.

For your info, the 4 seats coach 8C2900B made by Touring for the King of Romania in 1942 was the first ever Alfa made to present the center grill which equips all cars since the 50s. Chassis 412039 (look at my avatar picture).

@ kuni12345, if your friend can, it's just the most emblematic "production" car of the entire pre-war production. She's the quintessence of what men had imagined in terms of design, performance, image and today History (with a big H).
So yes, he would have to buy it.

kuni123456 I wish that my friend would buy this Alfa for his collection. I told him that pre-war Alfa cars were very special and very few 8C-2900 cars were produced.
