sidewaysalfa Why do they schedule these races on an Alfa Weekend for me??? I have to stand around in 100 deg heat in the desert all weekend.
I should be at Laguna where it is cooler!!
Back in the day we could do a 1 day biitz from LA to Laguna and back home that night.
Good luck Alfas. A slower track should be better for them?

mhemsley Look for some new livery on the #5 car - they're trying to help with relief to the Bahamas.

MALDI Here is quote about the race from the KMW Motorsports social media page https://www.facebook.com/KMWMotorsports :

"VIR is behind us. Mother Nature was not so nice. Constantly changing weather conditions cancelled most of the free practice and qualifying. The team rallied back, and with several full course yellows for crashes we we poised to a pair of top 5 finishes. Unfortunately on the final lap the #3 car was hit in the rear in the last turn and sent way off into the field, returned to finish 9th. The #5 car was involved in the chaos as well as with cars spinning and crashing everywhere we lost a 4th for a result of 7th.
Onto Laguna Seca in 3 weeks !!"

And a cool pic, too.

Viva Alfa!

ballough510 Did they qualify yet?? Forgot to tell you @MALDI about the Camaro that won at Elkhart in the last 20 FT. The Aston Driver hit the PTT button to celebrate before the stripe......... It was the Pit-Road Limit button and the car shut down and the Chevy buzzed by for the win.. TRUE STORY. That is a life changing moment
Have Fun if your there
