mhemsley Any Alfista who is in LV for the TCR race and can get photos of the cars, please email me - I could use good photos for my next article.

MALDI On Saturday, Risi Competizione won the Petit Le Mans GTLM class in a Ferrari 488 GTE (just ahead of a Ford GT, "Ford vs. Ferrari" all over again.) Perhaps Risi can turn their Petit Le Mans magic into a win for their Alfa Giulietta this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

MALDI A 7th for car #5 at Road Atlanta today, the last race of the season.

mhemsley We've been overtaken by the Mercedes! #5 is now in second place and only there by a hair.

Vote now and vote often:

mhemsley Need help at Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. I'll be at the Runoffs that weekend, so I really need photos from the TCR race of the two Alfas. Photos need to be fairly high resolution for publication, but any are welcome. Photos not put in Alfa Owner will go on the AROC website. You can send photos to me at [email protected].

Thankfully, there is good access to the paddock for spectators, because IMSA is a pain when it comes to credentials (IMSA is part of the NASCAR conglomerate now).

The TCR race appears to start at 1:15 on Friday, October 11th.

Anyone who is going and can send photos, please let me know.

Thanks,

Mike

mhemsley Paul:

Thanks for reminding me - I believe the team was sent AROC stickers. I'll check. I emailed Cindy about the voting, but I think the BoD has to buy in before a blast can be sent.

I've probably voted 20-30 times...:-) About to vote again.

The Alfa needs votes

Voting: Oh no, where did those Mercedes votes come from??? The Alfa is barely leading the Aston Martin with the Merc closing in. We have till Oct 9 to vote on our favorite livery.
I see AROSC posted this issue on their Facebook page. I am urging them to send out an e-blast to our chapter members. I have send out emails to some Alfa owners around So Cal.
Of course MALDI the Quad stickers are a must for both of these cars.
OK Mike. What is it gonna "cost us" to get an AROC sticker on the car??? We have till the final race on Fri Oct. 11.
Have you contacted Cindy B about this? Doesn't she know a guy who works at some car magazine? AROC has over 4500 members, think how many votes they could add!!!
This thread has over 3770 views. How many of you have voted? How many of you have passed this "Important Event" on to your friends?

mhemsley I'll pass it on.

We're in the lead, but only by 1%, so keep the votes coming!

MALDI I voted!

(But the livery would be even better with a quadrifoglio /\ on each front fender as is traditional. Perhaps for Road Atlanta?)

mhemsley Louis let me know that you can vote as many times as your fingers can stand.

Let's support these guys!

shakingthrough Done. Currently in 2nd place to Aston Martin. Come on people!

mhemsley Just heard from Louis Milone of KMW Motorsports, the #5 car has been nominated for the best livery for 2019. To add your vote, go to:

https://michelinracingusa.com/impc-fan-vote/

Then scroll down and pick the 5alfa for best livery.
