Just FYD&DP, I was sorting through some old images and ran across this shot of the winning Pescarolo-Bell 33 TT12 at the Watkins Glen 6-Hours, 11 July 1975. (photo went out over the AP wire, but copyright Edward Levin)
I haven't shot there since the 'bus stop' was added, but this shot was taken at the entry to what was then called Turn 6 (the left-hander at the entrance to the 'Anvil' section on the full GP course), looking back toward the Loop. Turn 6 was one of my favorite shooting points because of its scenic backdrop (which looks even better in color shots). BTW, the car in the background is second place 33TT12 (Merzario, if memory serves).
Those shots look like the 1974 USGP; I was probably one of the guys standing in the way of your shots (sorry).
Anyway, here's some Alfa color from the '75 6-Hour (same copyright crap as first image) Pescarolo leading in the first image; Artie Merzario in the pits in the other two.
