Takis The description is very accurate , if you do not mind I would like to add the following :
The idea to use the emblem at the gates of the Castello Sforzesco as the A.L.F.A. badge was taken by Romano Cattaneo one of the associates of Giuseppe Merosi.
Another badge that was used at the models after 2nd WW incuding the Alfetta 158/159 was the following picture.

Cool description of Alfa badge

I was cruising the internet and thought this would make a good post. I found a really great description on a website about the history and the meaning of the Alfa Badge, and its evolution.

Hope you find it as interesting as i did.
