Tifosi <-- stands on the 'paint the whole thing proper instead of touching up' side of the room.

Other paint options include that 'soft bumper' spray paint you can pick up at about any auto parts store in a myriad of colors. (it'll say right on the can that it's for rubber or plastic bumpers and other flexible parts)

It's not that big a deal to pull the bumpers, (I remove mine by taking off the bumper shock/rebound to bumper bolts instead of removing the whole system like the books suggest. 8 bolts and 2 bulb sockets on the front, 6 bolts on the rear and they are laying on the floor), and them off you can give them a good cleaning, (and hoe out the crap that's been back there for years), an easy mask job and paint for results that are definitely worth the effort.

Elio Comello I find TREMCLAD RUST PAINT in Aluminum from the Home Depot here in Canada a pretty reasonable match for my Quad (Argento Metallico). It costs a bout $CDN6 for 250ml. I'n sure you may have an equivalent product at your local store.

alfabeach Andy, I would just repaint the whole thing. After this many years of sun and washing the color has probably faded to a different shade. Just paint it something you can get touchup paint for.

88 Spider, chips on silver-painted bumper

Dear Group:
My 1988 Spider has chips on the silver-painted bumpers, and i wondered if anyone had ever matched a touch-up paint color to those? Paintscratch.com has no match on file, and the local Body Shop says i should repaint the whole thing. I would love to find out what others have done when just a "little dab" will do!
thanks
Andy
