It is a modified 101 normale pan... Note the door hinge trap doors to keep the oil from sloshing to one side or forward and aft.
pretty cool old skool part.

You win the prize. It is a modified 1600 Normale 1 piece cast aluminum sump some of my customers build to use in place of the more costly Veloce sump. I need more pictures of the pump to see if it's one of mine. If so as the bottom has been removed, I will reset the gear index for whoever might buy it. If it IS one of mine, it will have my initials and a serial number as below, and I can tell you build specifics and customer as well as engine information.
Tom WAS my customer for this pump. New buyer can send it to me for check up and re-set up at N.C.
This was a well functioning race / performance set-up combination for a 2L as I remember. There are a few of these modified 1600 Normale sumps out there as inexpensive Veloce sump substitutes. For pure race you use them with an oil cooler and oil thermostat. Abut the same exact depth at the Veloce sump, and much less costly if you smash it. You can even buy new reproductions of this sump as well as the real Veloce sump with cooling labyrinth underneath.
Lets see... Just the pump is a $600+ item. AND you get it re-set up for your application for shipping costs! The pump is good for any engine that uses the studded bottom type pick up, 750-101-1300, 1600, 105 up to race 2L. Street, performance or pure race with adjusted clearances.
Maybe that will help Bruce?
