|super-racer||During the lunch time drive around Snaidy and I took his GTV out on the track and that guy can drive! We were in a controlled slide all throughout turn two and he was real good around the top of the omega. Watch Out all you AROSC Time Trailers...we got a new kid to deal with.|

Thanks for the offer on the garage space. Only thing is, we are gonna have the motor-home out this weekend and there are no rv hookups next to the garage. So, we are gonna pit along the wall that runs parallel with the infield cuz we have more room for all the cars and my trailer too. We are not gonna test on Friday, it's not worth it for the money and we already know the track from past events.

|italcarguy||I didn't race the Spider because I want to concentrate on different tracks this year and do less events. Since 1999 between VARA, HSR-West, AROSC, and open test days, I have accumilated over 3000 laps on that track. Also, last year I ran about 20 races where as this year I want to slow it down a little bit. It is almost time to buy a house so my cash flow is going a different direction right now. Time to move on and play with different venues. I will be in Las Vegas this weekend with VARA and then the Fontana with HSR-West the following weekend. I wasn't going to do Fontana but someone talked me into it on Saturday night at the driver/crew reception.|

|RtbRacer||Well, in that case sign me up for a diet and an LA fitness thing. That should help my case for VARA. Speaking of which is that why you don't race your spider during 2.5 stuff.|

|italcarguy||the good thing about weighing less is you can always take that 2.5 weight out and become a lightweight while running with other groups.|

actually, you spelled his name right. if anyone were to protest, it would be after a race which is when the car weighs its least because it has no gas or hardly any.
if thats the case with your car weighing 2205 after a race, i would not change anything because as i stated before, you always want that 5 lbs. buffer.

Gianfranco (pardon the misspelled name) said that they sometimes check the weight at the end of the race. I was wondering if that was true or if I could stop by the gas station first?
Because at 2240, after a race if I lost 5 gallons I would be at 2205. So whats up?

The secret is going to the LA Fitness in Northridge, CA and trying to lose some weight off our bodies. It's easier and less expensive to go to the gym than to purchase light weight body pannels. I need 25 off my car. I am gonna weigh my car after the fiberglass hood and trunk go in, then lose a enough to be just 5lbs over the legal weight limit (2200 lbs. for gtv with 2 liter). I wanna stay a little over because fuel load could be the deciding factor and depending the track and race length, I could be screwed.
