Vale Fred Lennard

Many of us here count our love of Alfa's in decades and it's the people we meet along the way that make the experience memorable and worthwhile. Often we remember those folks with fondness and a small smile even if we haven't seen them for many years.

Fred Lennard was one of those. Fred passed away a couple of days ago and even though I personally hadn't seen or even spoken to him for a good number of years others here may well have as he was a semi-regular visitor to the US and to AROC events. I'm told the last national convention he attended was in Portland.

So if any of you knew Fred or have some across him over the years you may want to spot a comment on the Facebook entry about him posted by another AROC(NZ) stalwart, Dot Louie.

RIP Fred.

I used to read his maintenance/repair advice articles seriously in the AROC NZ magazine.
