My new 33

Hi all
Just purchased a new toy: 1989 Alfa Romeo 33 1.5ti

First impressions are how incredibly more peppy it is than my last 33, a S3 1.7ie, which was positively dull compared to this one, even with a modified exhaust. And must say how much more 'together' it feels than my last Sud [albeit modified with the same engine]. Certainly does not have the bite into a corner as the Sud did. Initial thoughts are to track down some clear front indicator covers as the orange doesn't do it for me, and replace the rear light assemblies which are cracked.

Cannot beat that boxer crackle

Aaron

I've taken photos of the indicators but need to transfer then from the camera. But they are both appear to be good condition - can't be sure until I get them off the car.

I may have some good rears too if you're still looking.

I'd much prefer swap to sale.

164 wise, I'm in need of:
- drivers door lock mechanism
- front outer door handles
- drivers inside door handle

That lot would be worth more than the 33 indicators. I think I also have two good lights and the tail lights. Anything else you might find useful?

Hello Aaron.

Good to see you are a 33 owner again. Looks really good and suits the colour well. No rust I hope.

I am in the process of restoring an MG midget right now, so I am glad the 159 is going perfectly and behaving itself.

Ciao,

Alex.
