I will be interested in your opinion of the 2600 if you do get to drive it. For I have always wondered what they would be like. Hopefully just like a big GT, for that is what they seem like to me. A poor mans Maserati.
Oh by the way, there was (might still be available) on ebay over here a Navy blue one for $14K (Buy Now) been restored some years ago, but needs finishing putting together.
I know all too well about the purchasing more property thing and its effect on having spare cash. Ditto re the wifey not being keen on more cars, heck mine is even making hints at me to get rid of some. I am well into the house rennovations projects, which is somewhat cramping my ability to work on my cars, travel etc. We had been hoping to come over to NZ this year for skiing again but instead all we managed instead were a couple of days at Perisher. Hopefully next year might be better.
