Arrow 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans

24 Heures du Mans - Official Website

The race is this weekend, June 14-15, 2014.

Another year without Alfas but perhaps we are getting closer with the new 4C.

Some brave, deep-pocketed soul must want to be the first to drive an Alfa in the race since 1973.

LeMans is the premier race in the world. I catch as much of it as I can each year.

Unless Alfa wants to get in the game, I don't see a 4c at LeMans.

I know. I am just a dreamer.

Also, with the on-again off-again rumors about Ferrari entering the prototype ranks it is unlikely Alfa will find a spot there. (And FCA cannot support two prototype teams like VAG can!)

If you don't have Fox Sports 1 on cable TV then there are a few live streaming options found here:

Audi wins overall, Zytek wins LMP2, Ferrari wins GT Pro and Aston Martin wins GT Amateur.

Thanks for the heads-up. I watched a lot of it, DVR'd. I found it a lot more interesting than the current version of F1.

Hated to see Webber's #20 Porsche DNF w/an hour or so to go!

I wonder if a Japanese LMP1 will EVER win LeMans again?

Congrats to Audi!

There was a great race in GTE Pro between the Ferrari of Fisicihella & Co and the Aston Martin of Senna & Co until the AM picked up a steering problem. It is a pity that they were not fighting it out at the end of the race.

I'm by no means a Porsche fan, but I am a fan of Mark Webber. I thought his handling of the RBR 'situation' was admirable. As anyone who reads this thread has probably figured out I'm a serious Ferrari fan, & have been for 50+ years. So my dislike for Porsche is long standing...their long-lived dominance of LeMans is particularly distasteful to me. But I will give them "props" for this year's entry: 2.0 litre V4s & their performance in LMP1 up until their DNFs...

Regards
