Removing actual fog light housing from front bumper valance???

Hey,
can’t seem to figure out on my own, note find any info online:
I have the actual fog lights removed from the housings, the wires and wire gaskets removed from the holes in the housings, but I need to now remove the actual plastic fog light housings from the rest of the bumper valance.
Unfortunately my first attempt on a different valance ended up in me breaking the mounting points and clips, so has anyone successfully done this?

It's clipped in, you need to press the housing away from the bumper out of the clips.

This will kill some of those clips, better get some spares. Maybe heating them up very slightly might help in getting the plastic a bit less brittle

Restoring a 75 TS aka the tickspark.

Yeah, that’s what I did with the first valance, and all the clips broke. Now I need to use that original valance and don’t know how to transfer the housings into a valance with broken clips.
