Alfa Romeo Milano/75 Clutch Question

Doing work on my old girl, only 51000km so I susopect original clutch and it is quite high.

I am wondering where the cheapest good clutch would be procured from, and what else to replace whilst I am at it.

Not trying to be lazy by not looking, so many options everywhere and I want to make sure I get the correct clutch in one go. Mine is a little high, and needs replacing.

Is there a website that gives alternative parts, ie, parts used in multiple cars, like 2000's jags used ford components, so buying them as ford components is cheaper

not sure of part numbers

mine is a 1989 milano/75 2.5 gold

Take out the clutch disc and have it relined

The normal drill is to remove and disassemble the clutch assembly. Take out the clutch disc and have it relined.

Search this site for more details on disassembling the clutch unit.

I don't think the disc is shared with any other vehicle.

I've got a brand new clutch disc that I don't need anymore that I'll let go cheap but it looks like you may not be in the US so shipping costs would probably kill the deal.

51k kilometers on the clutch? Should have had much more life in it than that. Are you sure your Milano (75) needs a new one? We have 100k miles (164k kilometers) on our 89 Milano original clutch, and it is still quite strong.

i wonder if it needs adjustment? has not been used for fives years

old guy was previous owner, if he rode the clutch like my mother in law, would have been lucky to get 9900km lol

Ah OK that's not far at all, thought you were in Europe. Let me dig it and I'll send you more info this weekend.
