Cam Sprockets 2.5 vs 3.0

Are the sprockets from a 2.5 set of heads fit a 3.0 set? Long story short, my 3.0 sprockets are no longer with me and I only have an extra set of 2.5 sprockets..

Thanks!

The 2.5 and 3.0 12v V6 cam shaft pulleys are the same but the aux shaft pulley and aux shaft that drives oil pump and distributor are not the same.

Like I said only cam pulleys are the same NOT aux shaft pulley or aux shaft.

What kind of 3.0L engine Milano or 164? If 164 what model and do you have correct matched aux shaft drive and driven gears inside head?

It is an 87 Verde motor that came out of my Verde. I disassembled it and bagged and tagged it all. Only the heads are not from this particular engine. My original sprockets are with my original heads which I don't have anymore.

UGH Steve, As I searched through my parts, I don't seem to have the sprocket for the distributor/oil pump, the shaft is there. So what is the difference?? I guess I have to go in search of one..

I got the oil pump rebuilt and everything cleaned up though.

Thanks!
