I have now been in contact with the owner of Sprint 00024. His car has 12 mm bolts and the aluminum version of the removal driveshaft fork. Sprint 00555 is also indicating 12 mm bolts.

The driveshaft section that you sent me pictures of with the 10 mm bolt holes ………. was it on the drivable car with its converted floor shift or was it an extra part along with column shift gearbox?

A couple of fairly knowledgeable people suspect that your column shift tunnel case with the 10 mm bolts on the fork attached to the gear box came from a Berlina.

Between Reed and myself we may have the parts you need to convert back to original configuration.

You will want to get to know Reed he has rebuilt at least 30 tunnel cases. He is well versed on the changes made during the evolution of the tunnel case

Was your car running when you got it, and you took the gearbox out of the car? I ask this because Reed and I are trying to understand the configuration.

This is why I have sent the drawing and asked about the 3-leg fork between the shaft you provided picture of and the rubber flexible joint . Also why asked for a picture of end of the driveshaft . early parts catalog implies version of the front driveshaft with the centering bushing pressed directly into the end of the front driveshaft withs no 3-leg fork between the driveshaft and the rubber flex joint.

Complicated .. I have been attempting to document with the intention of posting the results on the bulletin boards.
