    Hi Alby:

I just found your 2010 post about adapting Milano front calipers to a 105 series car. I did that on my 1967 GTV years ago and forever since have had a drop-pedal problem. My pedal is fine when the car is at rest, but after a couple of miles it takes one pump to get the slack out of it, as though the pads are being knocked back. I've tested all the usual culprits, as have various Alfa tech experts. Everyone is stumped. I'm wondering if I need the 2mm shims your old post mention, or if my custom rotors are not quite wide enough? Can you give me more info on how you made your shims and how they fit? Also, do you still have the specs (or contact info) for the supplier of you rotors? Your help will be much appreciated.

Yes Nick, I just saw your message and am the same Alby. Small world isn't it?
I'm still making slow progress. Bought a mig welder and spent the weekend cutting our the right side outer and middle sills. Hopefully ready to start welding in new ones in 2 or 3 weeks. Cheers, Alby
