    Jim,
The car looks an absolute treat, its a real credit to you and the family. I have really enjoyed the thread and your no fear attitude to all the new tasks and skills you had to learn.
Down under we are just coming out of Winter and into Spring. Our Cheery Blossom tree is out. The thought of taking a beautiful white spider out for a drive in this weather is very appealing , even if the steering wheel was on the wrong side. LOL.

I hope you haven't fallen our of love with the Alfetta.

    Speak soon.

    Cheers

    Dear Mr. La Voce,

We are a group of students of the University of Naples "Federico II",
master in Marketing & Service Management, and we are dealing with a case
study on the brand features of the Alfa Romeo cars. So we are looking
for someone who knows the essential characteristics and the history of
the Alfa Romeo. And we would need a group of opinion leaders to
interview until the final examination that we shall do by the end of
next month. If you're available for a short interview about this
classwork please answer to us as soon as possible so as to plan the
interview in your favourite way online.

    Best regards,

    Carlo Ascione
    Daniela Sigillo
    Giovanni Pone

Hi, I have had a worn out center of my Milano Verde driver's seat for which I think you have a very good solution which you did years ago.. Could you please tell how they are now? any new pictures of it? There is an update to the thread in which you responded back then.. Maybe you could respond there or send me a private message.. It would be much appreciated by me.

Back in July I saw a post where you were looking for some 1979 Spider Parts. Do you still need the hood release or other item?
I'm parting a '79 and just got an '85 to Part as well. Thanks

    Hi Dana,
Actually it was my Milano I lowered, but looking at my Alfetta GT it appears to be the same setup. You have two options, a large change (about 35mm or so) can be made by leaving the bar in place, removing the front wheel, disconnect the shock and the tie rod ball joint. Then remove the A-arm (held on by the two large bolts) (note any alignment shims under the nuts on the inside of the car) then and rotate the arm upwards one front spline tooth and reinstall. Mark which spline it was on first so you know where you started as a reference point). If that's too low, you'll have to remove the bar and then it's a matter of trial and error. Always start with a reference point before you make any adjustments. It's hard to describe in words. There's a thread http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/mila...-bars-out.html in the Milano Forum on this BB, it's chock full of good info and chronicles my experiences. Feel free to call me if you have any questions! 256-830-4488

Hi Jim- I noticed that you mention that you're familiar with torsion bars on Alfettas ( I have a '79 Sprint Veloce, too, a Mille Miglia)/ Just wondering if it's best to change ride height by moving the splines from the front or the rear. Sure looks easier to do it from the rear, but not having waded in yet, I'm just checking to see if there's something I'm not seeing. Thanks for any info.
    -Dana
