My brother has a 73 Spider that he has owned since new. He used the Centerline front end bushing kit and was very pleased with it. He will do the rear end in the spring. I am planning to do the seats my self. I will definitely get some hog ring pliers. I have admit the GTV6 is my favorite Alfa but the Spider gets the most comments. Terry

Thanks for the reply. I do have a couple of spiders. One that runs, it;s an 80 titled as a 74 and a 76 the is all original thar has not run many years. the body is in good shape but the floor boards are rusted out. It sat outside and the top leaked. I amfixing the body on the 74/80 and will paint this summer. It runs, the engine has been well maintained but the rest of the car needs a lot of TLC. I'm working in stages. The entire interior, dash, etc. is out so I can address all of the issues. I don't want to have a problem come up after I get it back on the road. I bought upholstery, carpet and door panels from another BBer. They were from World Upholstery. I have completed the restoration of one seat pan and upholstered the seat bottm cushion. It came out very well. I can recommend WO products. If you decide to do this yourself, invest in a set of hog ring pliers and some hog rings. It makes the job much easier. You should be able to get them at a farm store. After I finish painting, I will refresh the suspension. I want the car to be tight and drive well when I put it back on the road. I will do the entire front end kit from Centerline. I will do the rear end as well and was trying to decide which bushings and what kind.

    I appreciate your comments.

    Thanks Again,

For which car? I think you are referring to the spider? I have a 164, 74 spider and GTV6. Terry
