Thanks Darrin. All advice is helpful.. Particularly (and most importantly) is the walk away one. Cheers

Hi Jon, yup thats me. I remember thinking the same thing in relation to the lines. What I did was to deal with each line individually in so far as placement and where it went too. Once satisfied that I knew where it went I cable tied them all together and mounted them working from where they group near the brake and clutch cylinder out to where the individual outlets went. Trial and error. What I did find helpful was to seek out other 1750 owners and ask to look at their cars. Wiring, again use the same process as far as how cable lies. I don't think I took many photos of either but I will check. More than happy to chat 06 877 9447. If an idiot like me can put it together you can too. Just take your time and walk away when things don't go right. Kind regards Darrin

Are you Darrinf on trademe? If so, I missed out on your offloading several months ago - Stupid Me. I'm soon to be reassembling my 1750, but unfortunately I received the whole thing stripped and in boxes. Any chance you could send some progress photos of the engine bay from empty to now. I'm particularly confused (freaked out) about the hydraulic lines, especially looking at the spagetti hanging on the wall. Also the wiring.... I've a diagram but again photos would really help. I'd certainly appreciate any help you could give me. Regards Jon Blenkhorn wellington [email protected]
