Keeneland Concours, July 19th

Mr. Jarman sent out the following email............
Who all plans on being there??

Greetings Alfisti!

Just a reminder that the fifth annual Keeneland Concours is coming up in two weeks. Remember, this event is a benefit for UK Childrens Hospital, and has come to be recognized as one of the TOP FIVE CONCOURS de ELEGANCE IN THE COUNTRY! Saturday, July 19 is the day, and this year's featured marque is Cadillac. Please go to Keeneland Concours d'Elegance for more information and details.

The Alfa paddock will be in the same spot as last year, in the meadow to the left of the main driveway. Come on, Alfisti-- let's fill up this space this year with our Alfas! Your car does not have to be in concours condition to be there (frankly, mine is far from concours... believe me). We'll bring a cooler, a canopy for shade, and lawn chairs for the weary. But really now, just come on out and show up with us for this terrific event. We even have Ferraris hanging out with our Alfas, folks! People stroll by and admire our cars, ask questions and occasionally even tell us they had an Alfa way back when. As always, we'll also have an opportunity to support the Paddock Challenge, wherein the local car clubs contribute to a special collection to further support the Childrens Hospital.

So we hope to see you at Keeneland on Saturday, July 19 for a top-notch car show! Take care, and VIVA ALFA!

Dave Jarman

I'll try to go. I'll see if The Sedan is up to it. I seem to have a slightly leaky rear caliper. I'm going dig through my crap and see if I gan find a good set. If not I'm stuck driving the stupid ol' 164,

The meek shall inherit the rear view mirror.
