Concerning the rating system, what if another ex-customer had a not-so-stellar experience with the purportedly "worthy" shop, and would like to make it known to fellow BB'ers? Just a thought.

Europa Motor Works:
Address: 1105 Dixwell Avenue
Hamden, CT, 06514

Phone: 203-782-0883

have had my car there before, not too recently, they are long time Alfa mechanics.

Also alfiat check out the link on the AONE page here Velocissima - Alfa Owners of New England for a listing of shops in New England -some are very specific (i.e. driveshaft reapir) but many are general Alfa shops with some reviews.

Thanks for the information guys. I've added all the above to the map. As for reviews, google lets you add comments to locations, so review away if you feel like it. Any more shops out there?

Fayad's Sales and Service
Rent Worth Dr
Lincoln NE 68516

Phone 402-421-3455

Ask for Mike Fayad

Not top dollar, but good, thoughtful work. Saved my butt a couple of times when I couldn't get my GTV6 back together (doesn't happen often).

Takes the time to figure out what is wrong and fix it well. He is an honest and straight shooting guy.

When I lived in Columbus, OH I had great experiences with Mike's Foreign Car. He works primarily on Italian cars.

Alfa Only, in your opinion, does APC charge on the high side for work? I know they do good work, but I've wondered if prices are in line...

Thanks for putting this together Fred...the map is cool.

I would add:

Allison's Automotive
1565 Howard Access Rd # A
Upland, CA 91786-2590
(909) 981-3566

Specializes in Fiats, but he's worked on my spider and GTV6 (Alfa shop manuals look pretty well worn)...is honest and reasonable (but not fast unless you push)

Thanks Hector. All added. The midwest is lacking - anyone know of shops there?

Chuck is a knowledgeable and trustworthy Fiat and Alfa mechanic. I you find yourself in the San Joaquin Valley, he is the man you should see. He took care of my Fiat Turbo Spider for the 10 years I had it and my Series 4 Spider for the past 14 years. A great guy whose work very reasonably price.
