Grille swap 1300 to 1750

Hi all.
I just picked up a 1972 GT 1300 that has been upgraded to a 1750 engine.
Is it possible to add two headlamps to grille to get the 1750 look?
Im thinking probably not but wanted to check.
Thanks so Much.

This post should get moved to the GT section, not GTA.
If you remove the grille, I believe you should see the bases for the inner headlight buckets as part of the sheetmetal. If so, get the nutplates for the attachment screws, buckets and lights, and bolt in. You'll need to rewire a bit too.

Thanks so much Andrew. Yes I posted in wrong place but thank you. I didn’t realize the brackets may be pre existing. Thanks again.

Can you post a picture? Even with the grille on, can probably see if the inner light bases are there for the buckets.

Here it is. It’s a 1972 1300 but upgraded with a 1750. I don’t mind the 2 lights but prefer the look of my old 69 1750. I also plan taking bumpers of and putting on 15x6 panasports

Need to see close up, what's behind the mesh. Or maybe take from the other side, looking forward.

Sorry I’m traveling. Wife did her best with a flashlight. Can’t see anything from behind. May have to wait until I return. Appreciate it though!
Top 2 are passenger side. Bottom driver.
Thanks so much Andrew.
