OK
Showdown time.
My first car was a 1931 Ford Model A Coupe, bought for $40 when it was 24 years old. The car, not me.
So there!

You win... I have only several things that still work, my sense of humor, for one... being italian, you can figure out the other... I am going to post the (horns, trumpets, velocity stacks) for sale on ABB ..I have no use for them...as I mentioned earlier I had no Idea what the application was relative to Alfa.

I hesitate to try and bring this thread back to carb trumpets….

Pictures attached are from a period race TZ, never seen a similar set before or since.

Beautifully made in steel, each pair has offset carb mounts to ensure identical and accurate mounting.

Any ideas as to the manufacturer or are they one offs?

Richard

Have an identical set in my GTA cold air box. The screens are brazed on and they are nickel plated. They are standard equipment for GTA Autodelta cold airboxes and they are the only curved ones that fit inside without modification. On manufacturer I have no idea but they look like very small batch production.

As "Road & Track" used to say about carb intake screens:
To keep gravel and small birds out.

Too bad that somebody found it necessary to chrome plate over the original nickel plate on these ...

BYW Autodelta made a set of these for 40mm as well that were part of the kit for Cup Alfasud TI
