Picchi

Considered the greatest talent of Italian racing ever, Picchi scored incredible percent of victories (44%) in ALL the races that he has participated as a driver, and even much higher during his professional career. He was equally successful in open and covered wheels vehicles, and he is victorious still today (at age of 72) in historic competitions. His, never fully explained, retirement from professional racing remained a kind of mystery to our days, and some answers could be intuited in his beautiful, autobiographical book. Proud to have him as close friend.

The film footage evokes some nostalgia for sure, when Alfa GTA'S ruled the track, the shot of the cars up on two wheels is something real skill and great driving. The book is sure to be a good read. The legend lives on...

RHD vision was indeed an Escort.
ALL 40 GTAms were LHD....no such thing as a RHD.
