8/44 on an Alfa? Only know of 8/43, 7/41, 7/43 and 6/41 in that range.

Does anyone know the source - fitted to what - of 44/8 axle ratio. It appears to be a special hill climb ratio but unlisted in my sources.

I will confirm this listing. Parts microfiche 60496110 7th Edition for the 1991/1992 USA version Spiders lists a 12/43 ring & pinion for auto gearbox Spiders under part number 60520894. Unfortunately, the fiche reader I have does not print nor scan so I can not post the listing.
