My new baby

Hi folks.
Just sharing my latest addition need some opinions. 1972 GT 1300 upgraded to a 1750.
Bumpers coming off next. Should I add two more headlights or leave as is? Would love some thoughts.Name: A87E1290-86BD-46E1-A605-5F5024408A93.jpg

That's beautiful. I have always loved the single headlight Junior. Such a clean crisp look. I wouldn't touch it.

Hi. Nope just new wheels and tires. I kept the original wheels. Inside is in great and original condition. I hate the big bumpers though. I’m going to take them off.

Thank you. Iím starting to think the same thing. The 1750 engine is sweet. Iíve missed my GTVs. Iíve owned a few over the years and really regret selling my 1969 1750. I do hate the big bumpers though.

+1 for the smooth-nose Junior.
I’d probably even swap my stepnose for one.
Nice bus.

Really nice car mate, here's one that isn't red, and has the bumper off and a couple of extra lights.

Nice car!

I'd leave as-is but remove the overriders as mentioned before. Nice and clean look. Here's mine pre-resto:

Great photos showing the difference. They look best as is but without the overriders.
Get rid of the overriders then see how you like it for a while.
The bumpers will grow on you. The car looks unfinished without them.
Nice car, congratulations.

What a cool GTV, I would say, it is your car. Add or delete what makes you happy. As long as you keep the parts, and it can returned to stock some day, no problem.

I will vote 'aye' on removing the bumpers.

Just to see how you like it. Keep them wrapped up on a shelf in the garage.
