small detail

So , not sure if anyone posted pics on the ..connectors...for the trunk emblems, in this case , Guiliasprint GT..that has 5 pins. I'm not sure what these connectors or fasteners are called. The large ones have a black washer and a metal washer which are slightly concave. I flipped one on the reverse side. It is separated from the other 4 in the pic. re the small pieces. They are all concave with a metal washer over a cone like plastic piece. I flipped one on its side. So a total of 20 pieces. They are definitely original. 2 complete units per pin. Sorry if the description is confusing.

Yes, those are the original _______ well, whatevers. I might call them "fasteners", but "connectors" isn't a bad name either.

You need to decide if you trust 50 plus year-old plastic bits to secure your valuable badges. Sticking the badges on with adhesive, or repurposing tinnerman nuts to grip the badge studs, are other approaches.

Look up 'retaining clip for script badges' on the Classic Alfa site. You can keep it original looking with these. I know a lot of guys prefer to fill the holes and use automotive double sided tape (as Jay mentions) as there is less chance of chipping the new paint...

They are called push nuts. Auveco used to carry them in the US.

Thanks, I was actually thinking about using timmermans, although the plastic and rubber are still plyable. Its probably a good time to upgrade
