Plate and Reverse Light Wire Routing

The PO did some sheet metal repair in the trunk area which seems to have lead to the deletion of several openings such as the fuel latch boot drain and openings for the exterior light wiring.

Does anyone have a pic of how the lighting cables exit the car? I'm assuming there is a grommet for this but want to get the location as correct as I can.

Answer

This photo of a bumperless 1750 shows an opening just above the reverse light - roughly about 25mm below a line between the bumper mounts. I assume the wires drop down in the space between the tire well and outside sheet metal.

Garage
The hole on the inner floor panel is offset to the right of centreline as well.

Brilliant. Now I can get my drill. I have the grommets so I can get the diameter from them. Thanks! I should finish the wiring this weekend. I've been too busy to update my restoration thread. Spring is here and I want to get on the road!
