We have pictures of the dash, cherry teak vinyl metro restyling out of California, slightly lighter than the original, but I like it better so I'm going with it. The aluminum rings have been hand made for the gauges but have not been honed yet. The gauges will be fitted shortly, but are shown in the photo just set in to see how it looks. Those are the original gauges with the Italian script. I think it'll look good once it's put in the car. The upper & lower dash are already restored; I just don't have complete pictures yet. The ATE calipers are being restored. I had them epoxy spray painted, 3 coats, then 3 coats of dark steel restoleum paint and clear coated. The car won't be raced, but it's now bullet-proofed for heat. Putting the rebuild kit together with the ATE calipers cost me a case of beer and $30 Cdn in paint, and the cost of the rebuild kit. A good deal! In the next few weeks, the car will receive it's final primer and Bianco Spino (Hawthorn White) paint in single stage, no clear urethane. There's one picture of the original from 1966 Bianco Spino paint chip. By the way, guys, that's REAL Canadian beer, not that American crap!

The Bianco Spino paint match has been very difficult, if not almost impossible, thus the paint chip from 1966 is worth its weight in gold! The original Dupont codes are a no-go. They have a light-blue hint, which is no good.

Having a little fun on the American vs Canadian brew. Finish Master suggested epoxy paint first, then the actual paint. Regarding the original paint chip. I will work Dupont on the match.

I can tell you that there are lots of very good American and Canadian beer, but from the craft brewers not the factory brewers. Think Heady Topper and Boneshaker. And there are hundreds more. Ask me how I know. Google them if you don't know them.

Ive always liked Sleemans , as noted, no doubt the craft beers on both sides are high quality beers... tons to choose from. Maybe in 2018 I can crack open a cool one AFTER I finally get this 66 on the road!? I initially guessed 6 months to have a basic resto complete, now a FULL ON resto is spitting distance away. 4 years later. Once I got into this project, the only option was ALL IN or go home. I should have the paint on by September. Cross my fingers

Just a brief comment on the caliper rebuild kit. My mechanic told me the Classic Alfa ATE caliper rebuild kit is ACES. I deal with Damon from Classic who gives great service, product and price. Small plug, of course Alfaholics , Centerline and others are also excellent.

Some pics may be repeats. There are so many that I am not going to worry about too much.

I have taken more than a few body panel pics, bordering on redundancy.
