Windshield wiper nut size (thread and pitch) attached to wiper actuating mechanism

Hi all: Would some one please provide this information, since knowing this will get me to the correct thread-chaser to dress-up the "male" threads on the actuating mechanism onto which I can attach the nut?

Thanks, Nick

Nick,

It would help if you list the year and model of the car you are trying to get info on. There is a least four different windshield wiper mechanisms used on the Giuliettas, so what manufacturer yours is made by will help also.

Hello Vern: Thanks for your reply.
The car is a 1964 101.23 Giulia Spider. Not sure it helps, but it has the 3-shoe front brakes (built June 21, 1963). The OD of the threaded shaft is a touch over 13.5 mm, if that helps.
Not sure who the manufacturer is, however.

wipers

I've just had a look at my 62 Giulia Sprint which has Lucas wipers and the thread measures 15.75 mm which is just below 5/8" so I reckon it will be 5/8" UNF with 18 TPI. The nut size is 21 mm.
According to the parts book your car should have the same wipers.
