The early sprint, or what is often called the small headlight sprint, has a headlight unit common with a few cars. The 1st series Giulietta berlina for one. The late 1900 Zagato and the lightweight sprint are the same except the headlight rim is aluminum. For a long time the bucket was no where to be found. One of the vendors at the Jumbles in Italy has had a repro recently. The glass lens with the large Carello across the face (referred to as 150mm although measures more like 6 inches due to the curve, also called to as the 6 in. light) shows up from time to time at the Jumbles as well. The chrome (over brass) rim with the Carello lettering, the same story. There is a repro of the aluminum rim out there, so/so quality. The keeper arrangement which holds the light to the bucket is hard to find as well. I do not know of a supplier that has the whole kit from proper Carello parts. Be careful when looking, some suppliers are happy to sell you something close that won't be right for the car.

Hi, I'm looking for a couple of these Carello glasses for late 750 serie. If there is someone interested, I have for sale a couple for early 1955 sprint and berlina cars.

Try it with Paolo Bergia in Pinerolo Torino, I just got one 6 inch Carello from him for my 56 Sprint 750B.
