Cool Giulia sprint -62 racecar...

Hi I´m find an Sprint that was goin to the junkyard..

It was strippt from nearly anything exept rost and bad frontscreen..

I did bay it and going to make an racecar of it..

Will this be an forum for it or it is just for real original Sprints..

if not were..

Well I always LOVE the Sprint..

The Owner of this did adwertise part and explain that the rest going to junk..

Whats left I ask..
The doors hood and trunklid is left emty inside and rost,
no handles or anything.. just front light and front crome..

The wheels stering and axels part was given back after a took it home..

No floor and rear parts is also gone.

The rear floor I did replaced whit rear from an 116 GTV V6

have to wide the body some

did so and did new floor in the trunk that fit the new form..

The front was bad to ...

but the frame for A-arms and engine is good..

new floor and parts around

Floor and engine wall is new.. getting started with A-arms
Homemade Lower A-arms and upper mix of Alfa 105 and 116 parts..adjustebl..

With an car jack on inside and massage on outside its works..

A´m now sendig the car away for making an rollcage

And Im´m spending time doing the engine..

the plan is An 155 ts 2.0 8v engine whith oilcooling on the pistons

chrank from an 1.7 (80 mm stroke )
and Alfa nord conrods apr 8,2 in cr..and 1.773 cc

and an supercharger from Mazda Millenia....

will be back some other day.....

Then upper ball joint is brilliant. I hope you keep going on this project, I think its

Thank you guys..

The steering rack will be an ford Escort mk2 2.4 turn

It cost only 170 £ brand new..
I turn it uppsid down and it will be perfect..

and steering knuckle from an Milano

And an radiator made for the car...

Love this project! Car looks brilliant with those wider arches.

I know originality is not the priority but even so I think some period style racing wheels would suit it better..
