Noise (creaking) coming from passenger side

I have a noise coming from the passenger side of my Giulia. Every time drive over unbalanced (not perfectly flat) road a creaking sound occurs on the passenger side - especially when cold. They replace the headliner thinking that was creating the noise but still occurs. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

My Jaguar XF does this from the sunroof seal when dust gets into the area where the rubber seal pushes against the painted metal opening. Any good door seal silicone spray used to clean the seal cures the creaking until the dust returns. I like Aerospace 303.

Other possibilities include door seals and internals and anti roll bar bushings.

The biggest challenge from the driver's seat is locating the source of the noise. Anything in the roof can seem to come from anywhere "up there". Rear door noises can be hard to separate from other creaks or groans. The anti roll bar bushes can sometimes be diagnosed by silicone spray. If the noise disappears or even changes after spraying all six bushings with silicone you will have your culprit. Do them two at a time: each end of one drop link, then the other and last the pesky bar mounting bushings themselves.

Faulty bushings usually squeak more than creak but clunks groans and knocks are also symptoms.

I have the same issue: When closed, there are overhead sounds if the road isn't perfectly smooth. My understanding is that this is a fault common to panoramic glass roofs; watch: <https://www.motoringbox.com/cars/your-car/6-reasons-to-avoid-a-panoramic-roof/> I special ordered my Trofeo White Ti Sport with this option as it's parked in the sun all day and this feature would facilitate hot air escaping thus keeping the interior somewhat cooler than it otherwise would be.

While I doubt this is an engineering or assembly defect per se, my educated guess is that the amplitude of flex of one very long part (bear in mind the massive size of this thing) is greater than the gap between an adjacent part and thus comes in contact with the second one on occasion. The noise is not the type of rattle I would expect if something were loose.

Other than that, are you enjoying the car's almost telepathic response to driver input ... acceleration, steering, braking?

Not to be confused with the groaning noises that come from that side and occur only at high speed and when the wife is in the passenger seat.
