difference w/ clutch master cylinders

I have a 1978 Spider. I'm looking for a replacement clutch master cylinder and find a big price difference between my year and later years ($170 vs $68). the photos of the cylinders look very, very similar. But are there any differences? Cylinder diameter? Length of travel?

Are you sure the $170 clutch master cylinder isn't for a floor hinged pedal car?. I always thought the parts were common for all hanging pedal Alfas

Clutch MCs

For all the hanging petal cars, conedriver is correct. manufacturer of the part and supplier is the difference usually.
