That's so Jerry. I hardly knew him but he offered to let me drive one of his cars to an Alfa event here (Nashville, his hometown), when I whined to him that my Milano was not driveable.
I'd like to have it, but I feel I don't deserve it!

Such a great guy. All that knew him, even slightly, as I did miss him. If no-one else wants this, I'll take it.
I don't deserve it either Tom...

You guys decide, it’s really nice and it deserves a good place which both of you will provide. Let me know who/where to send. Jerry would be happy

Jerry made a wood cutout portrait of me driving a Super some years ago, showed up unannounced at my door. Very nice thing to do.

Sorry I missed this. Although I unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting Jerry, I did buy his 1750 GT Veloce a couple of years ago. The little beast brings a smile to my face every time I see it as the garage door opens. I've heard a lot of nice things too about Jerry as an artist and as an Alfa enthusiast.

Gordon,

Yes that's what Nancy told me, it was tough for her to let the car go. Would you by any chance still
have any of those pictures? I would love to get a copies to keep with the car, part of it's history.

Here's a pic from last year's Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.

I think Jerry posted them on the BB as well. He had considerable difficulty getting the gas tank out of the car in his "tent". Then he turned it upside down to see what made the noise.
AMAZING!
Quite a guy!

It's beautiful.

Why won't you keep it?

Jerry sent me a tee-shirt with that same picture printed on it about 10 years or so ago. It came unannounced to my office. I was the previous owner of that red GTV (from 1994-2002); it was a Mike Besic built Alfa. I sold it via eBay to a guy in New Hampshire who eventually sold it to Jerry. He tracked me down and we had been exchanging emails from time to time until his passing. If you visit my page on AlfaBB, you'll see a visitor post from Jerry when he was looking to fulfill his dream of owning a hop up Giulia Sedan. Miss that man.
