Which way does the camshaft sprocket go?

Each of my cams had the sprocket on a different way.
I have a feeling the sprocket goes on so that the side with an indentation for the washer is out, toward the end, facing the front. Then the washer, tab, and nut.
Can someone tell me for sure before I button it up.
Thanks,
Bill

Sprocket

Correct, there is only one side with the machined recess that the washer fits into.
