Milano -> Spider cooling fan

I have a cooling fan off of a Milano. I was wondering if I should keep it for when I get a Spider. Would it cool the engine noticibly better than the stock fan thats engine driven(it gets up to 120 here). Has anyone done this? Also, would it be running all the time or would there be some thermostat regulating it? I could make it so i could regulate it from inside the car, but dont want to take the chance of me forgetting and the car overheating.

Thanks!

hm me too.
it looks like it won't fit.
I think it is too thick and too big.

I took a snap of it on top of a old spider radiator
