New Ignition Key Switch Wiring

I ordered a new ignition switch for my 74 S2 Spider from Classic Alfa. The new switch (top) does not have a two wire harness that is part of the old switch (below). Can someone tell me the function of the two black wires and what wiring modifications (if any) need to be performed to install the new switch?

I think it is for a warning light or buzzer of some kind - maybe seat belt reminder or something like that.

The two wires are part of the key reminder circuit. The circuit sets off a buzzer if the left door is opened with the key in the ignition.
It's a USA market only thing which could explain why the Classic Alfa switch lacks these wires.
